Class objective
Learn the basic principles and applications of magnetism and electromagnetism.

Class description
Students discover magnetism and induction, gaining an understanding of magnetic effects and principles. Content includes the history of magnetism and explores modern theories and applications that underlie electric power generation and magnetic material physics. Class projects include the construction of an electromagnetically charged flashlight.

Age range: 10 and up

Maximum class size: 15 students
