Summer Camp Fees (per session): Members $450, Non-members $500
Registration must be completed by May 31
$100 is due with your registration and the balance is due by June 15.

Mechanics in Action
Build and use a trebuchet!
Aerodynamics of Flying Rings
Biology and Genetics: DNA with Stanford geneticists
City of Palo Alto Police: Crime Scene Investigation and Forensics.
Video Production

Adventures in Electronics: Campers construct a mystery electronic device.

Whispers on the Wind: Crystal Radios: Campers build and operate crystal radio receivers under the guidance of MOAH instructors. Campers can take home the radio they have constructed.

Video Production: Conducted jointly with The Media Center, campers receive an introduction to the use of studio video production equipment.

Mechanics in Action: Static and dynamic mechanics: camper projects include an exploration of aerodynamics and construction of a working trebuchet.

DNA and genetics: Conducted by scientists from Stanford Human Genome Center and scientists from Applera (formerly Applied Biosystems)

LEGO Robotics: Students work in teams to discover the principles of robot programming using LEGO Mindstorm kits and laptop computers. This year we will work with the original RCX computers and the new NXT computers.

Crime Scene Investigation: Discover the technological tools and methods of the Palo Alto Police Department, presented by the officers who use them.
