Kitchen gadgets are a fixture in homes around the world. Join culinary historian Peter Hertzmann as he describes how your favorite gizmo and many others came to be.

American Quilts: Fact & Fiction

With stories about 11th Century Crusaders, Gulliver's Travels and the Underground Railroad, Beryl Self, MOAH curator and quilter, takes an unusual look at the history of American Quilts.

Amazing Trees in Our Natural and Built Environment

2013 Spring lecture series: 7:00 pm, Wednesday, June 12

Join City of Palo Alto Arborist Dave Dockter on a virtual visit to some of Palo Alto's most significant and interesting trees. Dave will take us on a tour of some of the fun highlights, facts and rumors about famous and historically significant trees in our region. Palo Alto is named after a tree, so here is a way to learn more about them!
