Did you know?? It costs at least $250 per day to operate the Museum of American Heritage? Whether we are open to the public or not, the costs to maintain our collections, the Williams House and Gardens, and our other activities must be met. We are delighted to launch a new Sponsorship Program that helps meet those obligations: the MOAH "Day Sponsorship". This helps to support MOAH and is a great way to honor someone close to you that cares about preserving our heritage.
What will the money be used for? All of the funds you donate will go directly to the operating budget for MOAH. Here's How It Works: Individuals, families, or businesses can contribute $250 for the day of your choice, in honor of a particular person or family event (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) Sponsors will be recognized in the MOAH Update newsletter, on our website, and on signs placed in the public areas of the Museum ("This month's sponsors are:"). This is an excellent way for businesses to receive local recognition for community service. What Do You Need To Do? Provide us with your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, date you would like to sponsor, and "In Recognition of:" (can honor a person, accomplishment, historical event, etc.), make your check payable to "Museum of American Heritage", and send it to Museum of American Heritage, P.O. Box 1731, Palo Alto, CA, 94302-1731. We will send you an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes and will place your name on our sponsor list. You may indicate if you would like us to contact you each year to renew the gift. Print the form at the bottom of this page and return with your check. |
