Artifact Donations
Thank you for your interest in donating to MOAH's collection. Collectors and donors are the reason our collection has thrived and grown over the past 35 years.
We are only able to accept those items that fit within our key collection focus, which is mechanical and electrical inventions from 1750 to the 1960s. To view our current collection, visit our online database.
Any items being donated must first be approved by representatives from our collections committee.
If you think you may have an artifact that we might be interested in, the best way to send us an email with a photo and a brief description of the item. You may also complete the form on the right-hand side. We will then forward it to our warehouse crew and assess if this is an item we can accept.
If you don’t have email, please feel free to call us at 650.321.1004 and we can forward your inquiry to the MOAH Collection Committee.
Please be advised that any item accepted for donation becomes the property of the Museum. Should your artifact be accepted for donation, we will provide a receipt for your records. Due to IRS regulations, we do not provide appraised values for any artifacts that are donated.
Thank you for your interest in our collections.
