6 short films about social justice and environment topics will be featured.  3 of the films will be from people associated with Transition Palo Alto; 3 of the films will be from Bay Area high school students.  For all of the films either the filmmaker or someone associated with the film will be in attendance to talk about the film.

Student Films

  • When Hunger Hits Home: The Fight Against Food Insecurity by Neva Bapna, Laila Joshi, & Sione Fusimalohi

  • The Scopes Monkey Trial by Anjali Ambati and Uma Hemrajani

Community Films

  • Home Restaurant by Eda Benjakul (Peter Ruddock, film advisor)

  • Farm Discovery - Forage by Anne Hamersky

  • Worse Than Poop by Vanessa Warheit (Sven Thesen, film advisor)

There'll be time to talk with the film representatives one-on-one over some healthy snacks.  No RSVP necessary.  Come on down to the Museum and plan to have a fun and interesting evening.
